Isabelle and I are in CT until Monday - our only trip this month. Lots of stuff happening while here, and never enough time to do them all! Today we are heading into West Hartford to meet a long-time friend of my mom's, have lunch at The Cheesecake Factory (never been) and finally head over to Toys'r'Us for a little something for Isabelle. Did I ever mention that the first grandchild is always spoiled the most by the family?!
We have a tentative date in July for Isabelle and her friends to go to Charmingfare Farm (Candia, NH). That should be interesting. It's sort of a Zoo, farm, Oakhurst (milk people) Dairy and so much more. May it not rain!!
Remember to smell the roses today! Life is just too darn short not to do so!!!

Travelling to CT
We are off on another journey to Connecticut. So, my blog may be a little slow in getting information to you until the end of the week. Spending time with my Mom, and hopefully getting to have lunch with my sister in Litchfield. I have not been to Litchfield since my Dad passed away - too hard and too many memories, especially for my Mom. So I am very eager to go as the center of Town is quaint and fun. Later this summer, I'll be going to visit my Dad's cousin (and only Vorisek relative) in Warren. She has a farm and some beautiful land in town.
It has been horribly hot. On Friday is was only 58 - Saturday it was almost 100!! This mini-heatwave is to stay with us until Tuesday or Wednesday...then down into the 80's. Ahh, Spring in New England - blink and you miss it ;-)
Later this week I'll be posting some pictures of Isabelle washing my car. I'm going to send one to the editor of The Profile (WMC-BMWCCA's publication). Maybe she'll make the cover again! If anyone wants to check out her last cover, visit www.wmc-bmwcca.org, and click on the 'Library' link, then click (on the right-hand side) the Profile Newsletter link. Isabelle is on the cover of the February 2008 issue. The picture is from last August, but still she made the cover of a publication.....maybe being SEC (Social Events Committee) Chair and knowing the editor who also has a little one helped.
Enjoy the weather were ever you may be!!!

Getting Ready for Connecticut
Isabelle and I are off this morning to visit my Mom for a couple of days in Connecticut. We have some fun things planned plus Isabelle will be going with my Mom to her physical therapy session on Thursday. Lots of fun things to play with there....balls, balance beams and so much more. I'm going to take some pictures and post the best ones here. Most likely, I will not be able to post anything while I am away.
Hey, don't forget to check out this totally cool website site - http://www.kirtsy.com/. It is a wonderful website that was created by the woman behind the Design Mom website and some of her friends. They have great contests and some interesting information too.
Also, check out http://www.etsy.com/. One of my friends has a great shop (http://www.shopmayapapaya.com/). Isabelle loves the hair clips and they are really beautiful and wonderfully made. You can check out my favorites by visiting my "shop" on Etsy by clicking the following link (http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5161399). Go to 'Favorites". Esty prides it self on being a great source for all items handmade. Truly a priceless find in a day when so much is mass produced by those who could care less about quality.
Have fun!
