Post-Christmas update

We survived the Christmas rush and what a blast.  Isabelle was awesome this Christmas - totally getting into opening presents.  I think she liked opening the presents more than anything else.  Gotta love being three!!!  We spent Christmas in CT with our families.  Talk about Christmas festivities - three days long and still going......Hope everyone had a great Christmas too!

In January, I'm going to read 'Out of Africa" with a newly formed friend founded through another blog.  She loves 19th C literature too.  Of course, Out of Africa is not 19th C, but it is one of the very few 20th C and later books I read and liked.  So many people just like the new stuff.  Alas, I find it rather tedious with rare exceptions.  BTW, the book is a million times better than the movie!!!!!!  It's an easy read (for those
not accustomed to reading "heavy" stuff) and truly grasps one attention throughout the book.  Highly recommend.
