Busy Day

Another action-packed day is ahead for Isabelle and I. Some mundane, some fun. Gizmo (our 15-year old cat) has a thyroid condition, so he is going to the Vet this morning to have his routine thyroid check. That is quite fun - a 37+lb toddler on one arm and an almost 20 lb cat on the other...yes, Gizmo is a little bit fat. Needless to say, I'm beginning to feel like a weight-builder in regards to my arms!

Then we are off to lunch with a fellow ex-Board member from the Shelter. We're meeting downtown (Nashua) and should have a wonderful time. Cheryl is a wonderful person, and I am thrilled that we have been keeping in touch post-Shelter Board experience. Oh, that could be a blog in-and-of itself!

Afterwards, the day is ours....sort of....I need to focus on the golf tournament and Summer newsletter (print version) for CAI-NH. Being the Executive Director of the chapter has been rewarding, frustrating and interesting - sometimes all at the same time! For anyone who is interested, visit our website (www.cainh.org) for info about the chapter.

Enjoy your day!
